Has any one heard Doyle Bramhall II on Roger Waters ""in the flesh"(live DVD/Album?)
on the song ""Dogs"" does any one know what effects he has on his guitar, his setup, anything, because i want that sound. to me its close to perfect. thanks play on jimi |

I saw this tour, and he had great tone! Believe it or not he was playing through a Yamaha Head.I don't know the model, but it was one of the red models that they had in production not that long ago. I've played through one before, and you could get a pretty convincing David Gilmour Tone out ot it. Those guitar models were loaded with all these Digital effects, and you could save tones in a bank. At a flick of te switch, the knobs would turn to your saved setting on the amp head. It was pretty cool, but I guess it didn't catch on because it is out of production. Anyways, the yamaha head was connected to a Marshall cab, and I really don't know what he used for effects. I guess he really didn't have to, because that damn head had all kind of crap on it.

I saw on GuitarGeek.com that he uses a Roger Mayer rocket fuzz pedal but it doesn't say the exact one.
Has any one got any of these pedals what do they sound like? I can't find a store in which to try them out because i live in a hole..... namely Christchruch, NZ thanks. play on jimi |
