OK, I've got one for you. What's the effect used by Elliott Randall on Steely Dan's song Green [Big Grin] Earrings? The effect on the intro. Not the chorusy stuff in the middle (that's Skunk anyway), not the whooshing Mu Tron Bi-Phase at the end.

It's almost wha like, sliding greasily from note to note. But it's definitely not a wha. I've got a regular MuTron and I can't get the sound with that either. I spoke with Elliott and he only remembers using the Bi-Phase at the end, so let's help him and me out. TIA,

It sounds like a volume pedal and a slide with whatever comp and gain are already on there.
