Does anyone know what Univibe Setting Kenney Wayne Sheppard uses for the song "Nothing To Do With Love" off of the "Trouble Is" CD? I can't quite get the speed to match his also my Univibe tone dosen't sound as lush or full as his. Also what is the "Vintage" switch for on the Dunlop Univibe re issues?

If it's similar to the Fulltone DejaVibe, the "Vintage" switch is at unity volume (no volume boost) and it kills some highs, generating a more 'muddy' sound, as an older (vintage) effect would.

The "Modern" setting (on the DejaVibe), is more transparent, letting the highs through and giving a clearer tone, as a modern, high quality effect would. On the DejaVibe, this modern setting also gives you a volume boost.

In short, the Vintage setting intentionally muddies your sound, like an effect made back in the 60's (unintentionally) would.

well simply he went through a dmc 50 TFdx whilst the tone booster is on a max of gain to multiply for the feedback given off from the humbuckers. What you need is forecloser 270 with venom 2 tone wire cables and a ibanez reverb toner. pretty simple.
