I don't care for the group at all, but the guitar sounds just caugt my ear. When the band kicks in, there's a big medium crunch with plenty of sparkle and clarity. Is this just layering clean and dirty tracks? Can you approximate this sound from one guitar live?

Come on tone mongers - please listen to 17 seconds of this dumb song and voice some opinions. During 0:33-0:50, the rhythm guitars are panned left and right. IMBO, big clear crunch. How would you get this sound?

They're using old 50 watt plexi Marshalls and the Bad Cat, Hot Cat heads on various cabs. They also use old Vox AC30's from time to time. I'm friends with some of their tech people and the boys are really into amp tones.

I'm not sure how they get the sound at the part you're referencing...sounds like your basic hard rock power chords.

The intro is definitely flanger or phaser with a bit of wah.
