No matter how hard I play around with the settings I can't make Hot Gibbons sound any good!! Does anybody have any suggestions? Settings would help me out a ton!!!
I dont know how to specifically get a Gibbons tone, but you should definitely check out, if you havent already, www.patchtronix.com. They have a patches area with about 150 different settings people have submitted. I know they have a couple of ZZtop patches that you might start with.
Most seem to think that the factory presets are too over the top, but if you switch into manual model and then build the sound from there the valvetronix are fantastic (apologies if youve heard all this before).
They also have a valvetronix forum where you might post the same question.
