More of a discovery and recommendation than a "how'd they do that" ... though Keith Jarrett is pretty incomprehensible (in a good way) for the entire 38 minute performance.
If you're into 70's era electric Miles this is a 'must have'. "miles davis electric: a different kind of blue". 2004 Eagle eye media, (pulsar productions?)
Unfortunately no guitar (I believe Mahavishnu was on the festival too, so McLaughlin would have a conflict) but exhilaratingly brilliant ensemble and improv performances from everybody, as well as really good and balanced sound.

- interviews with most of the players about that time with Davis. (I could have done w/o Santana's pseudo spiritual meandering though - just my personal thing. The Keith Jarrett interviews more than make up for it!)
Anyway, it's awesome. Very funky and aggressive.

I put this on my "Wish List". So, maybe next time my Wife is looking for something, she'll get this.
