I don't know if I am posting this in the "right" place but, I am a newbie, so try not to get mad at me. I stopped going to HC 'cause they're so angry about some pretty petty stuff IMO.
Anyway, I've heard this song that used to be on Rock radio stations a couple of times and I really liked it. I don't know who sings it or the title. But here's the parts of the song that I remember. I know the singer is male.
(chorus from what i remember)

(verse from what i remember)

Any help would be really nice!

The song is "What It's Like" by Everlast - the album is titled "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues".

FYI for the future...

If you go into a Google search and type the known song lyrics in quotes and then type lyrics, generally a song lyric site will show up with the song and artist. Or not. But you;ll get something. So, for instance, you could have typed in:

["You might not know what its like to have to loose" song lyrics]

And Google would have given you:
http://forum.song-text.com/showthread.php?t=153
...which has the info you want.
