Tom Morello ; RATM, Audioslave - Uses a newer 2 ch model, 2205 I believe

Slash - Silver Jubilee

Zakk Wyle - Older vertical input models in the studio pics that I've seen. Those are my personal favorite models.

Untold gazillions of others I can't think of tright now......oh, and me for about 2 years Smile

So many people from the eighties used the 800 series, and still do.

Slayer-both King and Henneman still use the 800.
Scott Ian from Anthrax.

Tim Sult from Clutch still uses one live.

Early Metallica, first two albums, used the 800.

Dave Mustaine from Megadeth.

Judas Priest.

AC/DC for awhile.

Billy Gibbons throughout the eighties and nineties.

I've seen pics of SRV using the 800 in the studio.

Eddie Van Halen during the Diver Down and 1984 tours.

Scott Ian - always played Randall if memory serves me correctly. I just watch SOD live and he was using them there. I am fairly sure he has ALWAYS played solid state amps.

EVH - Did he use them live? I know he was still using his plexi in the studio (though the recording technique for 1984 was changed dramatically)

Scott didn't switch to Randall until 2000 or so, but up to that point he played Marshall all the way. Played the 800 series and silver jublilee throughout the eighties and early ninties. Then used the JCM 2000 before going to Randall.

About EVH, I've seen one pic of his rig during the 1984 tour in a guitar magazine a long time ago, and there were a few 800s along with his trusty plexi.

Eric Clapton used them around the time of his "Forever Man" song and he's using one live on the "One more car, one more rider" DVD. He used them prior to the Soldano period.
