I believe he uses a korg g3 or g4. It is Korg's version of a leslie simulator that is long oop but you can find them on ebay for around $400. This is the sound he gets during You Know Where I Belong.
It's definately some kind of leslie simulator though.
Hope this helps. Let me know if it's a differnet song you where trying to simulate.
he also uses a perscription electronics vibe pedal, but yeah most of what your hearing is the korg, like in color and shape on the live version, before he goes into the solo hes playing the same riff over and over, thats with the korg
not original LLC, the other one! you dig? dont forget to pet my constipated duck.

I was just checking out his gear listed on the album and he does list using a Fender Vibratone as being used. This is the same effect SRV used and it will definately give the sound that is found on I Know Where I Belong and If Nickels Were Heartaches. They are really hard to come by but I have a Songworks Rotary Wave being delivered now which is basically a smaller lightweight version of a vibratone and is much cheaper. I've never seen a vibratone in his stage rig so he must use a simulator on tour but on the album it definately is a vibratone as if you listen you can hear that 'cold shot' style of sound coming from his rig.
