Figured I would ask as I'm about to get a Multitone 100 2/12 combo.
Same one Paul Reed Smith and Carlos Santana use.
Any comments would be appreciated.
I have allready read the reviews at harmony and I understand from reliable soarces that about 6 Multitones went out that caused some problems and apparently the whole thing got blown out of proportion. There are hundreds possibly thousands of these and other koch amps out there that have served thier masters well.
I allready own a Pedaltone and it can be heard on the upcoming George Lynch Tribute disc "Will Play For Lynch", it is an amazing preamp!!!

I have the twintone 1x12.
two channel, full featured...

on the boards folks say it sounds 60's era ampegish on the clean with a bit of roland jazzchorus, and the second channel is a blended mesa-marshall...well, I can see the clean as described.
th3 2nd channel, now, this has to do alot with your preamp tubes mind you, but the gain tends to be thick pretty quickly, and after a point, dense. now, I am not a thrasher type, more bluesy, OD...but even I have to say that at good volumes, the edge is magnificient. again, it is dependent somewhat on your tubes....very alive and colorful distortion. el34 crunch..yumm.

great features like the rhythm setting. great feature - where you set a level and can boost to another volume level with the footswitch. nice. I dont use DI or FX loop - prolly should tho....never even tried them actually... reverb control on back is stupid, okay. the presence control is a nice thing to have though.
very nice EQ sweep. fine speaker. well built for sure. looks solid. Guitar Player said real nice thing about this amp, but please dont hold that against it, ok?

I emailed the Koch people about the forum rumors about early models having power supply issues, and they said that was not the case at all. they said there is nothing like that going on...

I think the amp handls pedals real well too. -- like most all tube amps. I have to admit that I am not nearly as attuned as most of the blokes on the forum are...there ya go. Cool
