I was looking into the 15" version of this amp and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it?

It's a toss up between this amp and the Tone King Meteour/Commet at this point.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i haven't even seen one yet,but it has 3 big things going for it( i.m.o.):
1) custom shop made,diaz input
2)basically single channel,i personally hate
channel switching amps!
3)15"speaker, which i have been pushing since i
first got on this forum
no,i don't think i will be getting one,i don't really need it,but i am betting it is a killer blues-rock machine! & the verb & vibrato are ,
i'm guessing first rate.

Waste of money man. The cabinet is junk. I know a guy that can build you one for $250 less. You get Mercury Transformers (Axiom Tone Clone), NOS tubes across the board (some nice RCA 7025s Wink), JBL D130 speaker, and a pine cab. Plus he uses all carbon comp. resistors, silver mica, yada yada. It's a great deal. Email me if you want some more info. Oh yeah, lifetime gaurantee on all the chassis work too!

i dont trust fender any more, with the way you make pedals you could make your own amp.
why would you want to settle for less?

I'f You have the bucks, Why not get a used one off Ebay? I'f You don't like it unload it and Your not out too much. I would personally prefer to get a used chassis (AB761 of course) and get one of those pine cabs from J.D. Newell and make the minor mods and cap upgrades Myself and be into it for under 500 or 600 dollars. A good set of tubes and Your good to go!
