Anybody here have a Univalve? I've got a couple of spare 2X12 cabinets, and I'm thinking of getting a THD to use as an overdrive amp in conjunction with my two JC-120 clean amps. I figured since it's only 15 watts, I could crank it and not blow anyone across the stage.

I have a Univalve. I love it.
It doesn't have a lot of clean headroom, but it sounds like you have that covered. I love the distortion this thing puts out. Great tone! I was actually wondering if anyone else here is using a Univalve. Any tips, tricks, pedals it likes or doesn't like would be great info. The folks on this site have great knowledge  Right now I'm using: Vox Wah->Line6 Delay->Microvibe->MXR Phase90-> MXR DynaComp-> HAO Roar Fuzz (hardly ever use it)-> Zvex Super Duper-> into the Univalve. 2x12 Avatar Cab with G12 and Vintage 30. I play either an American strat or a Faded Les Paul. I just got a big true bypass strip, so I need to redo my board. |

I currently use my Univalve with a KT-88 power tube on the road in a stereo rig with a '76 Marshall JMP 50 watt combo.
I really like the way the Fulldrive sounds with it. |
