I've got a 30 watt 1x12 overdrive supreme. I want to add a 1x12 extension cabinet. Any ideas what might sound good with this amp. Also the guitar player review stated you can get a pedel which will do more than the standard pedal. Has anyone used this pedal and what does it control. Lastly, I am trying to figure out if this is an slx version. I have contacted Fuchs, but they simply do not respond to their email, which is in great contrast to Budda who are very responsive. Anyway if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
The standard pedal does channel switching and reverb on and off. The Artist pedal/package adds two more switches for mid boost and gain boost...I think There is an upcharge for this mod. You can ordr an extension cabinet from Andy, or many other makers. As for whether it is a slx version...do you like the way it sounds? Personally I own 2 ODS 50 head and cabinet sets (the tweed set runs 6L6's, and the cream runs EL-34's) and I refuse to have the SLX mod done because I'm afraid they wouldn't sound as good as they do now. Some other folks feel the same way, but the best bet is to give Fuchs a call, and let them know your questions...Andy may just answer..
