Just a general, probably stupid question...

How hard is it to rehouse/repaint a pedal? In other words, if I open it up and start pulling stuff out, what's the likelihood of me destroying it and being unable to get it back in? Is this a beginner type project, or do I need to know what I'm doing?

Thanks for any input.

I would say you probably should know what you are doing. Most likely you will have to unsolder some things to get it out of the box.

it depends on what kind of pedal youre wanting to work on. if its a boss pedal, id say forget about it unless you really know what youre doing.

if its an mxr or EHX style pedal, you have a better chance. dont start unscrewing and pulling things out unless you remember where exactly they go.

what exactly are you hoping to do?
