Hi everyone,
I've been having trouble with my Tonebone Hot British. Sometimes when I click it on, the sound is reduced greatly. This usually clears up with another click. Also, any notes played on the heavier strings around the 12th fret fade into a muffled sound almost immediately. Could this be a tube problem or would it more likely be the jacks? I was hoping it might be a simple fix since I really don't want to take it apart. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

I sort of think it might be the switch, since clicking it again fixes the problem.
Could just change the tube for the fun of it, and see. It's not that hard. ______________________________ Do you think the fast that I demand this day is to bow down your head like a bulrush? No! I had the same thing happen. The problem is the switch. The Tonebones have crap for switches. Your best bet is to have a local tech replace the switch, but if there is no one local, then you should be able to send it back to Radial in Canada and they'll do it.

I've had that happen to my Tonebones too, It's the switch!
If you can solder your self just Email Radial they will most likely send you a switch Free of charge! |
