Got my VOX AC30cc2 today. Amp powered up fine, sounds great. But, the reverb is not working. Something must have come loose in the delivery of the amp? The reverb tank is bad?

What should be my course of action? Where do I look first to try to get it to work?

If anyone can suggest on how to replace the reverb tank or things to look for, that would be great. Also, what kind of reverb tank do I get and where do I get them?

some systems will not work unless the footswitch is plugged in.
remove the reverb tank, open it and look inside. are the springs broken or is there a broken wire inside the tank?
That is a very common problem.
make sure the RCA cables are plugged in tightly to the tank.
on the tank is a label indicating the manufacturer and model number. some manufacturers repair the tank for free. (accutronics has been very supportive)
reverb tanks are not interchangeable.The replacement must be the same as the original.
sometimes a reverb will not work due to a bad preamp tube, usually 12AX7 or 12AT7. Sometimes the failure occurs due to a bad reverb drive transformer inside the amplifier- but not often, it's usually a broken spring or a broken wire INSIDE the tank. This can usually be fixed easily. good luck with that, Moses.

whoops forgot to mention that if the 2 cables are accidentally reversed (plugged in backwards) that will also stop it from working. cheers.

In the meantime, I hooked up my RP2000 throught the loop to add a little reverb..works ok, but I'd like to have the Vox reverb working too.
