...so after all these years of ragging on the FD2, I'm back to using one, with an EL84 amp no less (Jamison), not sure the honeymoon's gonna last but I do like the versatility and I actually like how it rounds off and thickens the top end when I'm in Dickey Betts mode...anyway, my question: anybody successfully and simply modified their FD2 (mine's the "blue" version) to back off on the boost mode a bit? Boostwise, I don't want a lot, I just want a little... Resistor in series somewhere? Hopefully something reversible. thanx in advance, -Gu
