Why can't I just reverse the wire on the power adapter of the fulltone pedals and just use my boss power adapter. What's the ceapest and best way to power both boss and fulltone pedals on my pedal board? Thanks For any help.

I've got a Fulltone Bassdrive and two Boss pedals on my board right now, all powered from a single power supply. I don't remember making any special polarity provisions for the Fulltone, so either I made an extremely fortunate mistake when I made the power cable, or there is no polarity issue between Fulltone and Boss.
I'm using a Sony power adapter from an old CD player because of its high current capacity, and I hardwired it with a One-Spot multi-pedal cable thingy. I also had to extend the length of that in at least one case. -- T. G. -- |

you are talking about a 69 or soulbender right?
Well in that case you can. Its just reverse polarity. |

You can reverse the plug polarity of a Boss adapter to fit the reverse-polarity Fulltone pedals ('69, Octafuzz and Soulbender). That will work just as well as the Fulltone adapter.
But you'd still need a separate adapter for those pedals - you can't power them from the same source as normal center negative (Boss standard) pedals. This is because the Fulltone pedals mentioned are positive ground, whereas normal pedals are negative ground. Powering them from the same supply will simply short the power out. /Andreas |
