I have the original version of the Barber Direct Drive; i.e. no internal trim pots.

When I play through the Direct Drive and then switch back to clean, I lose volume by about 50%. It only happens AFTER I use the DD. When I first play clean without turning it on, I'm fine. After I use it, then I have a HUGE drop in bypassed volume.

Any ideas???

Have you contacted Barber with this problem? Dave is excellent with customer service issues. See what he has to say...

I was trying to send an email earlier, but hotmail was acting stupid. I'm going to try again tonight.

Sounds like it could be a bad solder joint on the switch or possibly the switch is bad.
