Help Please !
I have this pedal and an MXR envelope filter that I have tried to modify to a Boss DC power supply. I removed the battery clips and soldered in and mounted female inputs for the power supply. Neg. tip, Pos. ring. When I connect the instrument cables to these pedals, all of my pedals shut down. What did I do wrong??? Thank's for any help. |

What connector did you use mounted in the case?
Is it a metal jack? If so, it's grounding out the positive "ring" to the negative ground on the chassis. You need a plastic isolated plug. Bob Sweet Sweet Sound Electronics www.sweetsound.com http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=664651 |

Thank's for responding Bob. I did have that problem at first but solved it by using leather washers inside and out. Without the washers the whole board would die when I tried to power the MXR. With the washers, I can power the pedal but when I plug in the instrument cable the board dies.
Thank's in advance |

I'm guessing late 70's very early 80's.
