I have a beat up 1966 BSR which I blew a fuse in over the weekend (I mean the amp blew the fuse). I replaced the fuse, the tubes all light up, but no sound is coming out, now. I made sure my guitar and cord are good.

I am thinking it is the 5AR4 tube, since it makes a noise while it is warming up, but it does light up? I am stuck. I would like to fix it myself without taking it somewhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

It could be the 5AR4 tube (it's the rectifier tube).. You can replace this tube yourself (no need for biassing) with a new 5AR4 or GZ34 tube (these two tubes have the same specs)
