I have a Roland JC-90 amp. When i activate the amp's chorus either via the switch on the amp or via footswitch there is a slight yet noticable "pop" as the chrous is activated.

Normally this isn't a big deal if your turning it on prior to starting a song, but if I want to engage the chorus for a certain section of a song only, especially if i am recording i don't want that annoying pop getting registered as part of the recording. It's rather annoying although I think it is simply part of the chorus circuit and not a malfunction/unusual thing.

Does anyone know if the amp can be mod'd by an amp tech so that this pop goes away when the chorus is engaged or am I stuck with it?

Thanks in advance for any insight.
