I am having bad trouble with my Marshal 6100 head. When I turn it on nost of the time it won't engage any of the three channels and no sound comes out of it. other times it will engage but still no sound will come out, except if I go to channel 2 in which a very very very faint distortion can be heard. Any thoughts?

Does it act like that when the foot pedel is plugged in or out?
