Hi guys, help required from across the big pond: I've just removed the R28 resistor from my Phase 90 and it has left me with no effect? The pedal still passes a signal thru and the red led still comes on via the footswitch but no phase effect can be heard? I've put the R28 back in and the pedal works as it previously did. Any ideas before I give in and leave it un-modded? Your thoughts/advice would be greatly aprreciated. Cheers.

Hi,
well never having done the mod I am only guessing here. I do have alot of experience with building effects so here goes. If the pedal quits when you take the R28 out you obviously have interupted the circuit. If I remember correctly when you take R28 out it should work just fine but since it's not then try a jumper wire in place of the "R28". Try that and see how it works. Good luck. Peace NUKLHED |

Are you modding a recent Dunlop reissue pedal? That's the only one I know for sure that the mod works with. Email me and I'll see if I can help you out with it

I did the same mod to my RI and had the same problem. I ended up putting a jumper in where the R28 was and the pedal works great now and is a lot smoother. I also adjusted the internal trim pot some...but be cautious doing this. The trim pot is very sensetive and just a small movement can dramatically alter the effect. Mark the original setting before you go tweaking it.
