hi all, I just got a maestro ps1 phaser, after playing with it (great sounding) a low rumble (close to a "B" note) spreads over the sound of the pedal. I tryed to unplug it and check connections and etc...even plugged directly into 2 different amps and 2 different guitars, after a intial short period of powered off, once back on, the low noise rumbles and overwhelms the pedal. I checked cables and amps and guitars, not them, def the pedal... Also a audiable pop when the slow/off swtch is engaged. any advice on what the problem is???
thanks, Todd

The things that come to mind are:
a)Electric Ground problems. Try using the pedal with a Ups POwer supply
b) IF the loww rumble persists it could be the pedal malfunctioning, so you might have gotten a "lemon". Get it check by a technic repair shop or just try a new maestro phaser but before buying it check for the rumble noise.
c) Buy another brand of phaser like an Elctro HArmonix or Maxon or MXR. All good pedals.
Best of luck.
