My Korg DT-10 pedal tuner says it has a buffered output. What does this mean? Will it help, or hurt my tone? Should I get an A/B box to bypass it completely?

Buffered means the signal still goes through circuitry, even when the effect is switched off.
If you run a few pedals it is good to have a buffered pedal first in line. Trouble is, most buffers used in pedals sound like crap. Let your ears decide if it is a good buffer or you should use an A/B box. |

Thanks for the info. It sound pretty transparent, but I am using a whole new amp/pedal setup. It always takes me a few months to learn what I can get out of a new piece of gear.
