Hi, im sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I just bought a lefty Fender American Std. Stratocaster (I am left handed, cursed I know.).. And the SSS pickup configuration is not really suitable for my style of music (I play stuff from System of a Down - Marilyn Manson) Basically anything from hard rock to industrial metal. I was thinking about adding Hot Rails pickups to it, but wasnt sure where I should put one.. Do you guys think that they should go in all 3 positions, bridge only, neck only, bridge and middle... and so on and so forth... Thanks in advance for your advice.

I own an American strat - I play a whole range of stuff from chili peppers stuff to queens of the stone age to jazz stuff and blues & metal.
I switched the bridge pickup for a seymour-duncan hotrail 10 years ago and would reccomend this mod to anyone with a strat who want's to keep their original strat 'sounds' and also wants to kick out some rock / metal.
The hotrails really kick ass and was easy to fit - I did it myself and have done this for other friends with strats who heard my strat and loved the sounds.
Rock on!!!
