anyone tried p-90s on a strat ? did you have to change the bridge because of the pole piece spacing on the pickups?

I have a 3 p-90 strat. I'm just using a stock Fender strat bridge. The spacing is 'slightly' off. Great sounding axe.

Try a Fralin Steel pole 43 pu. Sounds like a P-90 in a Strat sized pu. Check his website.

Harmonic Design also makes a very faithful P90 pick-up in standard Fender SC size. I have two in each of my strats. They're the perfect bridge p-up for these guitars*.

*Disclaimer: I am a P90 freak and have an irrational disposition to them over all other p-ups
