Hey,

I just became the owner of a non-working Morley Echo Plus pedal. Intermittently, I get an signal w/effect, but then that signal will disappear and I'll have the normal guitar signal. This seems to happen when I start to engage the rocker/foot control on it. I looked at the board and nothing looks loose or anything. The only thing I can really see (and I'm not even sure about this) is that one of the light-sensors for the rocker MIGHT be out.

Anyway, I'm taking it to a tech tommorrow and I was hoping to get a couple of suggestions before I did.

And, oh yeah, thank god for Morley having the schematics to their pedals right on their site! How many companies do that?

Yeah Morley are great for that!

I used to own one of these pedal you're talkin about. Mine never gave any problems.

Tho I did at one point had a problem with my Morley Wah, I emailed them letting them know I could probably fix it myself if given a clue of the most probable cause for the problem I had. They emailed me back with a short list of things to look for, first on their list was it, I fixed it and never looked back the wah is still working to this day.

If you don't feel right pointing a soldering iron in there don't do it, but if you're not afraid to check the parts that you can on your own email them for a short list of most probable cause and they'll most likely get back to you. They did for me.

Best of luck
