Hey I want to mod my Rat 2....If I put in the LM308 chip...are there any other components I would have to change after I put the chip in? Would I be better off just having someone like Keeley mod it maybe?( there's also the monte allums mod, ruetz rat,etc) If anyone has had some experience with this let me know....

you should be fine doing that. you should check out the forums over at BYOC
those folks are very friendly and helpful. there's tons of info on Rat mods over there.

Start with the 308. The only other thing I would do would maybe have a switch for a couple of different diode options. I think Rat's sound just fine stock.
