I'd like to build an electric sitar and was wondering if anyone knew of an aftermarket "buzz bridge" like the one on a Coral/Jerry Jones Sitar.

Otherwise, anyone have an idea how I could make on from scratch?

Thanks
Roger

couldn't find anything on electric sitars on that site. this is something i'm looking to do soon as well. going to start researching the coral/JJ sitars soon and start plotting one out since my telecaster is finally almost done.

I've never made one but Mrs blood made a couple.I think she just made a rosewood block to go forward of the bridge then slowly sanded it down to the proper buzz. I'll ask her

i saw some 'sitar' saddles for a tele bridge(3 piece) a while back-they were squareish in shape and looked to be made of brass...i was interested, but got distracted. wish i could remember who makes(or made)them.

Those tele saddles are what I'm looking for. They're made by Rockinger in Germany, but I can't translate their website to order them. I hoped someone could tell me of an American version, or an American distributor for them.

well, this is a stretch but you might check ebay-i just remembered that's where i saw the picture of them. there was a link to the auction in a thread discussing them at the TDPRI(this was about a year ago)...maybe someone who hangs there knows more about how to get them.
