I'm looking to replace the crappy.boring, sounding pickups that came on my PARKER Nightfly I've been considering the Joe Barden PUPs but I really don't want to spend that kinda bread. Ive heard a lot abount the Lindy Fralins too but first I thought I'd field some fresh input from the experts, my fellow players My main amp is a Roland JC-120 but I'm considering purchasing soom kind of tube amp Fender Twin, Hotrod Deville, or a Traynor in the future I play a lot of JAZZ/ROCK BLUES

What S/S/H PU Combos do you like? Why?

What type of tones do you want? JAZZ/ROCK BLUES covers a lot of ground. Do you play with any overdrive? The JC 120 is a great clean amp. But, you may be really happy with your PUs, after an amp swap. The JC 120 may be the weak link.

No Swain I'm pretty comfortable with the JC-120s I use a SD twin classic tube overdrive to alter the tones I've pretty much isolatted the problem to a lack of color in the pickups and I generally want more sensitiviity and tonal variation from the pickup I'm after a pickup that'll be responsive to the way in wdich I attach the strings whether it be using a pick or fingerstyle. My approach to playing comes from primarily a classical form which incorporates a limited use of a pick. I'm only trying to generate a pool of experiences you guys/ or girls that'll helpme make q decision
