Hi all, I am new to this site and wanted to ask if anyone out there has done a mod on the Line 6 Delay Modeler Stomp Box. I was curious to see if anything could be done to it to make it better or more versatile, which it already is but more couldnt hurt...

Hey there Andy & welcome to the site.

I do not believe anyone has moded one of those pedals....Were you thinking about something in particular or just in general ?

I had seen some modified rack stuff but most of that would be to duplicate internal trimmer functions.

The pedal is already true bypass so that is out of the question also...

The only thing I would like to do with that pedal is maybe use it along with an eq as I notice some tone changes when it is in line and on.

All the best

George

Welcome Andy,
Why would you want to mod it? Is there something specific you'd like it to do?

Well, I wasn't thinking of anything particular but I would like to mod the loop sampler volume level to be louder or equal to the original signal, I notice that the tone and volume ar enot as loud as the original. Anyway to fix that?

I am interested in replacing the footswitches with more reliable ones. Right now there is a mechanical assembly screwed to the chassis which activates a small pad switch that is soldered to the board. I have experienced many problems with the switches not properly activating. I would like to use a regular DPDT switch and wire it into the board, but there is not much room to play with, does anyone know of a quality switch with a slim internal profile and preferably poles on the side instead of the bottom.
