Hey guys I'm a newcomer at the forums. I'm currently trying to upgrade my guitar, which is a ESP 400 Series Strat. I was wondering If there are any pickup combos that can give me the nearest tone closest to the Gibson Lucille. I know there is a huge gap in obvious reasons. I'm currently researching seymour duncan pickups and thought maybe I should go with a pair of SH-1 '59 coils. What do you guys think

I don't think the '59 is the best choice for your needs. I have one in my Les Paul and it's a pretty high output pup. I use it for hard rock/metal stuff, if that tells you anything.

Try posting this in the regular guitar/amp/pedal forum. You'll get a lot of responses there. No one hangs around here very much.
