I got this on ebay a week or so ago. The guy had it listed with a $199 BIN. I replaced the battery snap, the knobs and cleaned it up inside and out. The balance knob was very scratchy but some deoxit made it like new. A new guide bushing from Roland and it's done. It was made April of 1978 and is one of the rarest Boss pedals. I just wanted to share it with yall. The first two pics are from ebay the others are after I messed with it. It sounds incredible in front of a TS or a chorus. Enjoy!

It's my first time to try to post pics to this forum and I could only get links to show. I'll keep working on it. If yall have any pointers please let me know.

First time I ever see this one... sorry for the 'dumb' question but what does this do to your sound?

Lets you accentuate a choosen frequency. I have heard them likened to a fixed wah, but it doesn't sound like any wah I have heard. I think the freq. is different from a wah. I like it's subtle coolness.

You got a great price, I have seen SP-1's that were more beat up than yours going for over $500!

It's a single band parametric eq. Fairly limited in its use, hence probably the reason that it is so rare. But 200 yo-yos is a small price to pay for a little piece of history.
