Would anyone know the possible source of a pretty noticeable "hum" when I turn the gain up on my SD-1? When it's set to almost off, it's fine. But if I turn it up, I get a big time hum. Any suggestions? Is it a capacitor? Resistor? Anything I can do to help track it down? I have basic soldering abilities...

Thanks for any help you can offer!

You want to cut that on the di-angle.

I really have no idea but....Monte Allums has DIY mods for that pedal, keeley mods it as well. I think what your describing could be the "bleed" the SD-1 has. Check your cables as well, other than that You can mod it yourself or send it to someone if you want. That's all I got...good luck.
