I have a beat up 1966 BSR which I blew a fuse in over the weekend (I mean the amp blew the fuse). I replaced the fuse, the tubes all light up, but no sound is coming out, now. I made sure my guitar and cord are good.
I am thinking it is the 5AR4 tube, since it makes a noise while it is warming up, but it does light up? I am stuck. I would like to fix it myself without taking it somewhere. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks. CopaKid |

It could be the 5AR4 tube (it's the rectifier tube).. You can replace this tube yourself (no need for biassing) with a new 5AR4 or GZ34 tube (these two tubes have the same specs)
