I think I've found a guy in my town who can do a true bypass mod to an MXR Phase 45-I'm too scared to do the mod myself.
Can somebody refer me to a diagram or instructions that I could show the guy?
There was another guy in town who actually works on pedals from guitar stores, but when I spoke with him, he was a jerk, didn't know what true bypass was, and acted like I was asking for a huge re-design of the pedal. It seems like people do the mod pretty regularly.
So do I get a 3PDT switch off the Fulltone site and give this new guy some instructions or is more complicated than that?

Is it an older pedal? The new mxr pedals are kind of tricky, the switch is soldered right to the pcb. However, I don't think there's any new reissue phase 45's so you might be good there.
You don't need a 3pdt switch unless you're looking to light up an indicator light also.
