I have been playing with the micro q-tron through a DC brick using the supplied power cable. Today the LED light would not turn on so I unplugged the q-tron from the DC brick, and engaged the pedal again. This time the LED light would come on but a really loud noise started blasting. I turned the pedal off and made sure that all of the cables worked and I also tried the power cable on other pedals and it would power them fine. I opened up the micro q-tron and could not see any blatant damage to it. So I tried it again and now all the pedal does, when plugged in to the DC brick, is mute. The LED light still doesn't come on. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on? Did I fry the pedal somehow and could I DIY repair it?

Have you tried the Qtron with its own power supply? How about another pedal on the same channel of the DC Brick that you were using the Qtron with? The DC Brick has 18 volt outputs as well. Make sure you weren't using one of those. These would probably fry your Qtron pretty quickly. The Qtron uses 100 milliamps for its operation. If you are using alot of pedals with the DC Brick you might be underpowering the Qtron. Try it by itself with its own power supply and see what happens.
