i scored a Boss DM-2 analog delay for cheap and when i got it, it didn`t have a batery conector, i don`t mind since it works fine with an adaptor, also, how would i know if the previous owner messed with the trim pots inside?
the "repeat rate" knob works backwards (i think) its at its longest delay time when fully counterclockwise (0), are all like this?
i like the way the pedal sounds but, should i send it to someone to do a full checkup and return it to factory settings?
please advise!

you know, im just Guessing but you might ask Robert Keeley about it, he seems to know Boss electronics pretty well (especially since he mods them) n such, might try to contact him, he posts here on toyz but not often, try to contact him through his website...no promises tho im not sure what he'll say but, he knows his stuff its worth a try.

Yes, the repeat knob is "backwards". I've been using my DM-2 regularly on one of my boards for the last couple of months, so I'm hip to its taper. But whenever I sideline that box for a while, and then pick it back up, I always have to re-train myself. It's funky.
