Hi Guys
I have been using a Deluxe Memory Man for years, and I love the thing. Unfortunately it lowers the level of my chain, when engaged, even when maxed out.
I have had a tech mod it several times, but have always had him reverse the mods, because the box sounded different in a bad way.
It is an older model, and my question is:
Is this to be expected from the older models, or is mine just sick?
Have the issue been resolved on the newer models, was I to spring for one?
I know I could solve it with a Micro Amp/Keeley Looper for instance, but I like to keep it simple.
I am sure these questions have been asked before, but I couldn't find it in the forums, so thanks for your time. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Robert

I bought a new one because it did not lower my volume.Could the money spent on mods have bought you a new one already?
The Keeley looper and booster thing works great with my Electric Mistress though, that pig sucks volume big time.
If you like the sound as much as I do ,get a new one.
The new Memory Man w/Hazarai is very close and is overstuffed with useful features.
Have you tried one of those yet?

I gotta be on Mars in fifteen minutes !

Thanks for the reply!
Fortunately, the mods didn't set me back too much. Looks like I'm in the market for a new one...
Consideret the MXR Carbon Copy, but its hard to beat the DMM.
Maybe I'll bet the Carbon copy for short delays...
Thanks.
