Anyone know anything about them? Was looking for a cross between the Clapton "Layla" tone and early Rory Gallagher. Thye have a set called the Irish tour but seem to be geared more to a SRV sound.

Right on Monty!

Fender can't even make their own pickups as good as Lindy makes his with their specs. Take your fender pups out and sell them to fools on ebay and buy yourself some LF Vintage Hots (w/alnico 5s) and you will not be dissappointed. I have four strats and the only one that still has fender pups in it is the 65 strat in the vault. I've seen Rory play twice over the years (RIP) and the LF Vintage Hots get all the sounds I ever heard him play as long as you stick with a real Marshall stack with greenbacks in it. Since I am from Austin and saw SRV many times here, I can say that the SRV sound is much different than Rory's sound. Hot rodded pups on #1, TS808s and Dumble amps do not sound like Rory at all. they just played the same type of guitar. Lindy Fralin's VHs rock!
