Has anybody used these pickups or heard of them before...? Apparently designer Alan Entwistle came up with this pickup design along with UK designer Dave White. They were produced for some high-end Hofner guitars at one point. I have found a few instances on Harmony-Central that are full thumbs-up for these pickups. I'm interested 'cause I just picked up a set at a very reasonable price on eBay to experiment with....
