I recently acquired a bass amp/head and I can't seem to get it working. It's a "Dynacord Reference 4000" I don't know the first thing about amps, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I plugged the head in (if this is even a head undecided) and hooked it up to the cab with a brand new speaker cable. I plugged the guitar in with an instrument cable that works great in my other amplifiers. The display on the front of the amp works, the controls seem to be working. However, I get nothing from the speakers. I have tried fiddling with every knob and button on the thing, but still, no sound. The fan doesn't run when I turn it on though.
