My vintage Ross compressor started making a noise similar to the static you hear on a shortwave radio. Kind of an intermitant sound, always changing and it seems to be associated with an oscillation it gets now when playing. Any ideas out there? I found one cap that seems extra sensitive if you tap on it, but I'd like some other ideas before I start replacing stuff in this sweetie.
