Hey Folks,
I Just got one of these (ordered on line, wasn't able to try before). I really dig the boost, but the overdrive isn't doing anything for me at all. Have any of you tried this unit yet? Do you like the overdrive? I'm kind of left to wonder if perhaps the OD side on mine might be defective (it sounds that disapointing). Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I really liked the single channel boost. The 2 channel one was kinda funny, though.
The boost was a little less transparent on the 2 channel model. And yeah, the Distortion was really bad.
The single channel can also be run at 18 volts. The 2 channel, didn't say whether it could handle 18v.
The 2 channel Boost is really nice. But, I did notice a difference between it, and the single channel.
Hope this helps.

Problem Solved!!! I just got a T.C. Electronics Vintage Tube Primer. This is a great classic overdrive w/ a boost.

It's really a Sparkle Drive with an added booster channel (that can be used on it's own). It even has the clean blend knob. I actually think it's more of what a sparkle drive should be. Takes it to the next level.
