As much as I like to listen to SRV its alot more fun to watch him play on video to see those close ups of his fretting is unbelievable. I taped his Austin City Limits shows .

all it takes is watching tapes of stevie- he was the best because he left it all on stage. he poured out everything he had every time he played, and he loved what he did. losing stevie was a huge loss to the music world.

Besides the fact that he was the best guitar player that ever lived. I actually knew him. I used to help out at some of his concerts and got to know him. He was a great man. He often said that he was not good because he had skill but he was good because he had heart and wasent afraid to show it.

Well I think that SRV is ok but Chris Ledoux is the best singer, songwriter, and guitar player ever.

All of thoes guys (except Chris Ledoux) are great musians but Clapton is the best
