Nels and Alex Cline had their "50th b-day" bash at a local new music venue out here(Club Tropical). Needless to say - AWESOME!!! The cream of the crop of the L.A. "new music" players and all for $5.00 and free parking. Nels didn't really use a ton of 'noisemakers' mostly a little looping, some fuzz and just a big, clean tone from the Jazzmaster. The place was standing room only so I couldn't see too much on the floor. It was actually quite a jazzy evening dedicated to peace. All the tunes had a "peace" theme.
