I've seen it happen twice at the 2001 and 2002 NAMM Concert Shows. If I only had a recording
of this years show with Steve Smith on drums. Larry blew the ceiling off the room.

I've only seen LC once, and that was way back in '84, in L.A.... Trio format, Bunny Brunel on bass, don't recall the drummer. Larry was outstanding, just really on top of his game. Lately I've been hearing LC again on local jazz radio. I threw out some comments on a thread here called "'Round Midnight -LC". A highly overlooked player who has never rested on his laurels.
