the solo is on life support right now, but i don't think by any means the guitar god is. what is a guitar god?? well think about it. it's the same thing now as it was 30 years ago. someone doing something new and cool, that all the kids wanna be like. there are a few guitarists out there these days like that. I'd say the Korn duo is probably the hottest, followed by creeds guitarist (who is good, but his band sucks). i'm sure their are other, but those are who pop out in mind. Sure, they dont' solo alot, but they're talented, some blazing new trails, ala the Korn guys. i'll stop rambling now. =)
